The Delaware Restaurant Association and National Restaurant Association Education Foundation provide ProStart® students the opportunity to advance their education. Through post-secondary scholarships students are encouraged to attend colleges and universities who specialize in hospitality and restaurant management programs. With the restaurant industry growing continuously, it is important that ProStart® students have the opportunities to get the education that will provide them with the knowledge and skills to compete for top positions.
Delaware ProStart Scholarship
This scholarship is available to Delaware high school students who are a part of or, have graduated from the ProStart® program and plan to attend college in the state of Delaware.
*The 2015 Deadline to apply for this scholarship is October 16th.

First-Time Freshman Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who will be first-time freshmen including graduating high school seniors, GED graduates and high school graduates enrolling in college for the first time. Applicants must be pursuing studies in a restaurant and foodservice-related program.
Al Schuman Ecolab Entrepreneurial Scholarship
This was established to award scholarships to qualified first-time freshmen students who are committed to their education and careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry while demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This scholarship is for students who attend or will attend from a select list of schools.
GRI/Giacomo Bologna Scholarship
The scholarship enables students to travel to Italy for a week and participate in various culinary and restaurant industry related classes and tours. During this program, students will be offered a first-hand experience in Italian winemaking and cooking. Each year, GRI organizes a unique experience for the students that high-lights a region in Italy. GRI is a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting knowledge of authentic Italian food and wine through education.
