TRAINING & MATERIALS
ServSafe® & DineSafe® in partnership with University of Delaware
Food safety in a foodservice establishment is non-negotiable. Each year an estimated 6 to 12 million Americans contract food-borne illness as a result of contamination by microorganisms. These illnesses are preventable. Proper training is the key to preparing food in a safe environment. The ServSafeŽ program is the premiere food safety training offered by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). The program, designed for the food-service professional, provides accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. The one-day class reviews material presented in the textbook and concludes with the certification exam.
