Summary
Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables. They ensure that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports The Starboards’ mission, vision and values
- Prepare dining areas before guest are seated
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed – Pre-bus and after service
- Clean and reset tables after gust leave
- Maintain Health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Take out trash and Linens
- Sweep and Mop as needed
- Check bathrooms hourly to make sure they are stocked and clean
- Perform all pre and post shift side work required
- Collaborate and communicate with managers, servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, runners and kitchen staff
- Preparedness for shift (timely arrival, required uniform, etc.)
- Assist in other jobs throughout the restaurant
- Complete pre, during and post shift side work
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings
