Job Title: Bartender

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager

Bartenders have a dynamic role in the overall experience of our guests and team mates. Under the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor this position greets and serves the guest in accordance with standards of F&B quality, presentation and sanitation, in a gracious and professional manner. Essential Job Functions:

Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
Answers questions and suggests menu items while maintaining knowledge of daily specials.
Knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
Knowledge of proper beverage, liquor and wine menus and service guidelines.
Accurately operates the point of sale (POS) and performs cash reconciliation.
Checks back with guests/members to ensure satisfaction.
Performs daily cash reconciliation.
Works closely with Team Members to ensure Guest satisfaction in presentation and beverage quality.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for work station and restaurant.
Verifies accuracy of all checks before presenting to Guest and present in a timely manner.
Advises supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.
Trains new staff members.
Performs opening and closing duties as well as work as assigned by manager.
Studies all menu items and is able to explain dishes to members and guests upon request or if a special item is being prepared.
Attends pre-shift line-up meetings before each service shift and attends all staff meetings.
