The Delaware Restaurant Association and Foundation is seeking a reliable and organized Office Manager/Executive Assistant to manage day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support to the executive team. This in-office role requires a candidate who is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, scheduling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Provide administrative support to executives, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and preparing reports or presentations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email, phone calls, and mail.
- Assist with meeting coordination, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Support event planning and execution, including logistics, communication, and material preparation.
- Maintain accurate records, including filing systems, contracts, and financial documents.
- Learn and answer questions related to industry training classes.
- Collaborate with each staff member on special projects as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office manager, executive assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Restaurant industry experience or knowledge is helpful, but not a requirement.
Schedule:
- In-office role, 4 days a week, 9 AM to 4 PM.
- Some evenings and additional hours based on organizational events may be required.
