Week 2: What to Watch for When Handling Food

Health inspectors know that poor personal hygiene can cause a foodborne illness. Wash your hands before putting on gloves and change them at right times. Avoid touching your body and then touching food.

All of the free training activities and posters are created for the restaurant and foodservice industry to help reinforce proper food safety practices and procedures. The free National Food Safety Education Month materials are based on the ServSafe ® food safety training and certification program.

The materials communicate concepts clearly and quickly to employees, and activities can be completed in less than 10 minutes.
