The Delaware Restaurant Association, through its non-profit Delaware Restaurant Foundation (DRF), has formed the Industry Relief Fund (IRF) to provide immediate emergency grants to restaurant workers. The IRF offers emergency financial assistance to DE restaurant and foodservice workers facing unanticipated hardships, such as injury, illness, death or illness of a family member, or natural disasters such as flood, fire or storm damage. The DRF provides emergency financial assistance directly to workers in the amount of $500.

To qualify for grant assistance, you must be able to complete the online application, with includes the following requirements:

• Proof of current employment in a Delaware restaurant or F&B hospitality business (most recent) paystub 
  
• Proof of hardship (signed letter on company letterhead, medical diagnosis from doctor, newspaper article, published obituary, etc.)
