Scholarships

The Delaware Restaurant Association and National Restaurant Association Education Foundation provide ProStart® students the opportunity to advance their education. Through post-secondary scholarships students are encouraged to attend colleges and universities that specialize in hospitality and restaurant management programs. With the restaurant industry growing continuously, it is important that ProStart® students have the opportunities to get the education that will provide them with the knowledge and skills to compete for top positions.
DRAEF Scott Kammerer ProStart Student Scholarship Award

• Total of $2,000 Funds (award(s) dependent on applications received)
• Offered to all ProStart Programs
• ProStart Juniors & Senior Students Only
• Funds are to be utilized towards either: Post-Secondary Support, Workforce Assistance, or Leadership Opportunity (Camps, Academies, etc…)

DRAEF Harry’s Hospitality Group Education Scholarship Award

• Total of $5,000 Funds (award(s) dependent on applications received)
• Offered to New Castle County ProStart Programs Only
• ProStart Educators + Junior Students + Senior Students May All Apply

Funds are to be utilized toward:

• Educators: Classroom Support (i.e. equipment, curriculum, externship/professional development fees, etc…)
• Students: Post-Secondary, Workforce Assistance, Leadership Opportunity (Camps, Academies, etc…)
